Vision/Mission Statement
To see the Body of Christ equipped for service and coming into the measure of maturity that will enable them to effectively reach others for Christ: And to assist the people of Shekinah in fulfilling God’s call on their life through public ministry, locally, nationally and internationally.
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJ
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to be a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ - from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
That we would be a place where unconditional love would flow:
I John 4:7 NKJV
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.”
I John 4:12 NKJV
“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
I John 3:14 NKJV
“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren…”
I John 3:16 NKJV
“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
That we would reach out to the unsaved, the hurting, the poor, and the oppressed:
Luke 4:18 NKJV (Isaiah 61:1)
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed: to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
